It was on September 10 that Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, after almost a year, returned in the bay post the former’s cancer treatment in New York City. At the airport, both Rishi and Neetu couldn’t contain their happiness, as they landed in their motherland, and, why not? Rishi Kapoor, during his stay in NYC, had admitted missing India and so did his fans. Well, Neetu Kapoor played a crucial part in Rishi’s successful recovery as she stood beside him like a rock. Recently, the veteran actress got a little emotional and penned her two cents on this experience.
Taking to her Instagram, Neetu Kapoor shared how this ‘phase’ affected her life. She posted a selfie of hers, which appeared to be from NYC. In her caption, Neetu wrote, “Where did the last 11 months go?? Was a long road !!! It was a phase that teaches and changes you a lot,” followed with a heart emoji. In a recent interview with Times Now, the Kapoor & Sons actor opened up on his journey with cancer and thanked Neetu, as according to him, his recovery wouldn't have been possible without his better half. “She has been a rock of Gibraltar, really really supported me without her I wouldn't be not getting anywhere,” said Rishi Kapoor.
